Travel quiz of the year: terms and conditions

The winner will be the first entry drawn at random from all correct entries
received by the closing date. Should no entrant get all questions correct,
the winning entry will be drawn from all entries achieving the next highest

4. The winner’s name and county can be obtained by sending a sae to End of
Year Travel Quiz Winner, Travel Desk, Telegraph Media Group, 111 Buckingham
Palace Road, London SW1W 0DT between January 28 and February 28, 2012.

5. All entries must be received by midnight on January 21, 2012.

6. The winner will be contacted within seven days of the closing date of the
prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should
the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to
award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these
terms and conditions.

7. The prize as described is available on the date of publication.

8. One entrant will win three-night holiday for two people in Istanbul,
courtesy of luxury travel specialists Cox Kings. Accommodation will be in
the five-star Four Seasons Hotel at Sultanahmet. The prize includes return
flights to Istanbul from London Heathrow with British Airways, accommodation
in a “superior” twin/double room, breakfast daily, private
transfers and one full day’s sightseeing with an English-speaking guide.

9. The prize does not include travel insurance, food and drink, personal
expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned. It is the
responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they and their guest have valid
passports and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and
visas for their trip.

10. The prize is valid for travel until December 31, 2012, excluding the
following dates: April 5-9 and December 28-31. The prize is subject to Cox

11. The prize is subject to availability, non transferable and there are no
cash alternatives.

12. The winner may be required to participate in publicity.

13. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the
prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and
accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the
promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the
Promoter as a result thereof.

14. The Telegraph is responsible for the first part of the promotion, which is
the publication and adjudication of the prize draw. All other facilities
connected with the provision of the prize are the responsibility of Cox
