Deal watch: CruiseOne offers money back on new cruise bookings

Cruise seller CruiseOne today unveiled a new promotion that gives customers up to a $200 “spending reimbursement” after they book a cruise.

The offer, which is valid through Nov. 30, is aimed at would-be cruisers who are holding back on making a booking because they’re worried about having enough cash available for holiday spending, the company says.

“We know that this time of year can be stressful for many, and this is CruiseOne’s way of helping eliminate one concern,” CruiseOne senior vice president and general manager Dwain Wall says in a statement accompanying the announcement.

Under the terms of the promotion, customers who spend $1,000 to $2,499 on a trip will get $50 cash back. Customers spending $2,500 to $4,999 will get $100 back, and those spending $5,000 to $7,999 get $150. Customers spending more than $8,000 get the full $200 back.

CruiseOne is a chain of cruise-selling travel agencies with more than 750 locations nationwide. It’s owned by World Travel Holdings, which also operates Cruises Inc., CruisesOnly,, and several other travel-selling brands and bills itself as the largest seller of cruises in North America.
